This question has been all the buzz since patch 2.3 came out. Blizzard originally planned to start Season 3 one week after patch 2.3 came As we approach the previously announced start date we’ve had growing concerns of what the new season requires of us to actually launch, and its proximity to the Thanksgiving holiday. Everyone wants the launch go as smoothly as possible, and in order to have resources available to tend to any issues as soon as they may spring up, we’ve decided to delay the Season 3 start date to November 28. One week after the previously announced date. The WoW Arena?
out which would put the start of Season 3 on November 20th.

But wait…This allows us to have the quickest response time to any issues should they occur. While making everyone wait another week obviously isn’t the optimal outcome, in the end we decided it would be much worse to start Season 3 so close to the holiday and potentially make players wait longer until a problem can be resolved. Ultimately it allows us to provide the best possible service for everyone as we launch the new season.
Blizzard, yesterday, has actually pushed the start date to the S3 arena and it will not take place until Nov. 27th. The reasoning behind this push back isn’t a technical one but it has to do with that upcoming holiday called Thanksgiving.  I really consider it a good move for Blizzard to make just in case tons of bugs pop up and they wouldn’t be staffed enough to handle them during the Thanksgiving weekend. I am like you, I really want this season 3 to get off on the right foot and sooner rather than later. Oh well, that gives us one more week of honor grinding before the season 1 items come available at the honor vendors.

Here is Blizzard’s official post on the matter:

Everyone is preparing for the start of the third arena season and we’re excited to get new items, rewards, and fresh competition going for everyone participating in the arenas.

am wanting to know the complete list of emotes for World of Warcraft.Just a quick note: Remember when trying these out you have to type “/emotename” (without the quotes) in order to get them to work. For example “/angry” (without the quotes) will do the Angry emote.
I know a lot of them but a complete WoW emote list would be great!
World of Warcraft emotes are always fun to do and especially if you use some of the not so well known emotes, you can really surprise your friends. The WoW emote list is split up into Animated emotes and Non-animated emotes for easier viewing. As a rule of reading through this, you must use at least one not so well known emote next time you are in-game.

Great question and this is something that I have come to know fairly well. One thing that absolutely drives me crazy is seeing Mortal Strike (MS) Warriors using the same build for raiding. Now this isn’t a “set in stone” raid build. It also depends on your play style. For example,Arms Tree (17 points) Fury Tree (44 points)
Improved Heroic Strike 3/3 Cruelty 5/5
Deflection 5/5 Unbridled Wrath 5/5
Improved Thunder Clap 3/3 Improved Cleave 1/3
Anger Management 1/1 Commanding Presence 4/5
Deep Wounds 3/3 Dual Wield Specialization 5/5
Impale 2/2 Improved Execute 2/2
 Enrage 5/5
 Sweeping Strikes 1/1
 Improved Berserker Rage 1/2
 Flurry 5/5
Precision 3/3 Can A WoW Warrior Block A Critical Hit?
 Bloodthirst 1/1
 Improved Berserker Stance 5/5
 Rampage 1/1
a lot of people prefer to put points into Improved Whirlwind, which reduces the cooldown of Whirlwind, since Whirlwind is such an important ability for Fury warriors. I just prefer to get the boost to attack power and threat reduction that Improved Berserker Stance gives. Also, I put a point into Improved Cleave and I use it in place of Heroic Strike which generates high threat. It helps to keep me below the tanks in aggro.

Hopefully this helps out some Warriors play around with a different build besides the vanilla boring MS Arms spec. Also, if you have ideas to improve upon this build or have other builds to recommend for raid DPS please let us know below.Anyway, Fury is the way to go for raid DPS and if you are geared well enough you should be able to top the damage meters pretty easily. Fury DPS can be up there with Rogue DPS and can even out DPS rogues if done correctly.

Here is the Fury build that I use when raiding:

The 2-hand Arms MS build is great for PvP but lacks considerably for raiding. One of the reasons I believe this is so true is because the MS build focuses on burst damage more than consistent damage which is needed for raids and also the fact that the MS build works best when you are generating tons of rage and in the raid scene if you are a melee DPS and taking tons of damage you are doing something wrong. So that also makes you rage starved as well which has a major impact on your DPS.

Wow! This is actually an honor to answer your question.
Fury Tree (31 points)
Cruelty 5/5
Unbridled Wrath 5/5
Piercing Howl 1/1
Blood Craze 3/3
Commanding Presence 5/5
Enrage 5/5
Sweeping Strikes 1/1
Flurry 5/5
Precision 1/3
I want you to know that I appreciate everything you have done for our great country. It will probably be a nice change to go from the real battlefield to a video game battlefield. Anyway…

For a warrior the best build to grind with is a Fury build. I typically use my raiding Fury build to grind with. Also Fury works extremely well for leveling (lvl 40+) and can make it a breeze Tanking Gear For A Warrior?.
Also another thing that would really help you out as you level is keeping a different kind of weapon in each hand (for example: main hand uses Mace while off-hand uses Axe) so that you will be able to easily level up 2 different weapon skills. You will probably want to switch out as well as you find better DPS weapons while leveling. This will also keep you from having to level up a weapon skill from 0 when you hit level 70.
Arms seems the way to go for anyone under level 40 but since you are so close to level 40 here is a Fury build you could use

Getting geared up for raiding can get a bit boring but well worth it in the end if you enjoy tanking.Ranged Slot Items
Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer - This is a craftable item with engineering. Usually can find a lot of these on the AH but are typically a bit expensive. Wouldn’t be too difficult to farm out the mats for this yourself instead of buying it off the AH.
That wraps this up. Please also note that I haven’t included many badge items as well. Also it’s good to note this doesn’t include new items that came out with patch 2.4 (happened that way since I started this weeks before the new patch came out but just now got finished writing it up). I will update this over time and will add the new items in as soon as I get some time but I feel this is a great place to start. With that said here are the best items, in my opinion, that will help you out the most for starting out in Karazhan. I will also list a few different choices of items for you as well to help tailor to your tanking style and also gives you a bit of variety so if something doesn’t drop for you off a boss you have other alternatives to it. On a side note, it also lets me try out the WoWhead item links on my site as well.

Head Slot Items and Enchant
Myrmidon’s Headdress - This helm is a quest reward for the quest “The Warlord’s Hideout” in Steamvault.
Warhelm of the Bold - This helm drops off the last boss in The Botanica, Warp Splinter.
Felsteel Helm - You can get this helm from any blacksmith that can craft it. You may also find it on the AH cheaper than the cost of the mats to make it.
Glyph of the Defender - Great tanking helm enchant and requires Revered with the Keepers of Time.
Neck Slot Items
Thalodien’s Charm - This is a quest reward from the quest “Shutting Down Manaforge Ara” in Netherstorm. It is also important to note that the quest is a Scryer quest so if you are Aldor you might want to check out the other alternatives.
Natasha’s Battle Chain - This is the alternative to the above. Not quite as good but a great choice if you are Aldor and can not do the Scryer quest. This is a quest reward for the quest “The Hound-Master” in Blade’s Edge Mountains.
Strength of the Untamed - Get this neck from being Revered with Cenarion Expedition.
Maladaar’s Blessed Chaplet - This one drops off Exarch Maladaar in Auchenai Crypts but only in heroic mode.
Shoulder Slot Items and Enchants
Shoulderguards of the Bold - This shoulder drops off Murmur in Shadow Labs.
Fanblade Pauldrons - Drops off Shirrak the Dead Watcher in Auchenai Crypts in heroic mode.

Enchant Gloves - Major Strength - Gives +15 Strength
Enchant Gloves - Threat - Gives an additional 2% threat
The Sun Eater - Drops off Pathaleon the Calculator in Heroic Mechanar.
Grom’tor’s Charge - Not nearly as good as the Sun Eater but still viable. Reward from the quest “The Cipher of Damnation” in Shadowmoon Valley.
As for enchants, we all know Executioner or Mongoose is the way to go but at this point the mats may be hard to come by and these enchants are fairly expensive. For these weapons listed above you might want to try out Potency or even Greater Agility.

A Critical Hit?

A Warrior that is tanking is better off using a fast speed weapon.Weapon Speed, Heroic Strike, Devastate, and Threat Generation
So how does all this information effect Warriors? Well, that is where it gets a little more complicated. Previously you learned that most Special Attacks happen instantly, between weapon swings. That means that some specials do not. One of these special attacks is Heroic Strike. The amount of threat generated by heroic strike doesn’t vary based on how hard it hits. This means that the more times Heroic Strike hits, the more threat it will generate. On the other hand, the threat generated by Devastate is dependent on the amount of damage it deals. Being a instant special attack, the Devastate ability benefits from a slower, harder hitting weapon. The benefits of this, however, do not outweigh the benefits of using a fast weapon with Heroic Strike. You generate more threat from frequent Heroic Strikes than from a hard-hitting Devastate.

The first thing you may notice in the above table is that the Damage Per Second works out to be very close on all the the weapons, despite their speeds and top end damage being so drastically different. So if their DPS is roughly the same, aren’t all the weapons equally effective? No. If all we were concerned about was the Auto-Attack damage per second, there would be no need for speeds and damage ranges. However, most Special Attacks are instant attacks that come in between normal weapon swings and therefore aren’t dependent on weapon speed. This is where the damage range becomes important, since the amount of damage dealt by an instant attack is greatly effected by the top-end damage of the weapon you are using. While there are many other attacks a Warrior can use, the comparison of these two is the most compelling argument for why tanking Warriors benefit more from using a fast weapon.

Spread the word “Fast” for a Warrior means around 2.0 and faster.

The most common tanking weapons in The Burning Crusade are 1.6 speed. The Legendary quality Thunderfury – generally accepted to be the best tanking weapon pre-TBC – is 1.8 speed.

It’s easy to say that because all the best tanking weapons are fast speed, that fast weapons are better for tanking. The weapons that have been put in the game with common tanking stats (defense, hit rating, stamina) reflect this – but why is that so?

Speed, Top End Damage, Specials, and DPS – 101
Weapons have several stats on them that effect what classes they are best suited for. Lets consider some common tanking and non-tanking weapons and break down these stats.

Weapon Damage Range Speed DPS
King’s Defender 98-182 1.6 87.5
Sun Eater 93-174 1.6 83.4
Runic Hammer 140-261 2.4 83.5
Spiteblade 165-308 2.7 87.6

Logically speaking, and a 25% chance to parry.A WoW Warrior? First, a calculation will be run to see if you are going to dodge the incoming attack. There is a 1 in 4 chance that you will. This is repeated for Block and Parry. Only if you fail to avoid the attack will the calculation be run as to what kind of hit it will be. Interestingly, the same attribute that primarily effects your avoidance, Defense, also decreases your chance for a hit to critically hit you. The math for this, however, isn’t considered until after it is determined that you will in fact be hit one way or another. The general principle then, can be boiled down to: If you can’t be hit, you can’t be crit. If you block an attack, you cannot be hit by it, and therefore we will never know if it was going to be a critical hit or not. no, a Critical Hit cannot be blocked. The principle behind it is this: when an enemy attempts to strike you, the first thing calculated is whether or not they can hit you. This is a comparison of your enemies chance to hit versus your chance to avoid that hit. There are several ways to avoid a hit. You can Dodge, Block or Parry. Each of these avoidances are calculated individually. Lets say that you have 25% chance to Dodge, a 25% chance to Block.

My friends and I are rerolling on a new server to be horde but am conflicted on what race I should choose for a WoW warrior.
As you can see there wasn’t any calculating on what would be the best race but only which race would be the most fun to play. Since I have played Apadwe a while now I have come to realize that choosing Tauren was actually a good move especially for War Stomp and the 5% increased hit points which also help a lot.
Racials are a small factor but what looks the best in later levels. If I had to choose a race for Apadwe all over again I would pick Tauren again. War Stomp has become my friend and has helped me out so much. It gives you another crowd control spell besides Fear. Besides that I like my character being huge and the gear looks so much better.  It’s easy to look like a badass especially if you are 4 feet taller than everyone else!

Spread the word I know this is a question that I can only answer but how did you decide on Apadwe being a Tauren?
Back in the day when I first created Apadwe I chose to be a Tauren for one simple reason….If you want to have a total monster warrior that pwns hard in PvP then you must pay close attention to the racials that are offered for each race. I always hear about how Undead is the best race choice for a WoW Warrior but i’m not really sure that holds true although Cannibalize and Will of the Forsaken are excellent racials.

The best thing to do is to study up on the racials of each race and find one that will compliment your play style and probably most importantly, find one that you really will have fun with.
my brother who plays chose Tauren for the race of his Shaman and we wanted to level together from the beginning!

If you are looking for just a fun race that looks cool to you then go ahead and choose something which looks appealing to you and don’t worry about the racials at all.

The World of Warcraft warrior is one of the nine WOW characters that players can choose from in this exciting action and adventure games. The whirlwind is a spell of the World of Warcraft warrior. It is an attack spell. It is used to create a wind that can be very destructive to enemies within the immediate area.

The World of Warcraft warrior is one of the most hardened characters. The defensive stance is more of a technique. It allows the WOW warrior to keep enemies away. It increases the amour rating for the warrior for a period of time. The WOW warrior is very combat oriented.

WOW warriors have the abilities and skills that allow them to be very good at combat. There skills show this combat lifestyle and how well WOW warriors can keep enemies at bay.

Three examples of the World of Warcraft warrior skills are the shield bash, defensive stance and whirlwind.
They have mastered the art of fighting and combat and are able to fend off their enemies with ease. Fighting is the true heart of the World of Warcraft warriors.
